Techub News reports, citing Bitcoinist, that according to a 13F filing submitted to the U.S. SEC by Nasdaq-listed financial services firm Marex Group, the company held a combined total of approximately $9.4 million in the Canary XRP ETF and Bitwise XRP ETF in the first quarter, making it one of the top three institutional holders of U.S. XRP ETFs. The filing shows that Marex held approximately 357,000 shares of the Canary XRP ETF (valued at around $5.1 million), representing a 51% increase from the previous quarter; it also newly held approximately 286,000 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF (valued at around $4.3 million). Currently, institutions with larger U.S. XRP ETF holdings than Marex include Goldman Sachs (approximately $152 million) and Millennium Management (approximately $27 million). In addition, Marex increased its holdings of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) stock to 3.4 million shares and adjusted its related options and preferred stock positions.
